heyhey. i do have stuff to tell. oh and it's fathers' day so happy fathers' day to all the fathers out there. tho i don't really know any of my friends who are fathers so maybe i should stop babbling. ANYWAY. today the post is about my mother. and her "inappropriate" behaviour in public. and before u read on, no she does not streak in public.

inappropriate moment #1:

she was at someone's house after a friend's daughter's confirmation and they were eating a dish with buah keluak in it. so mum, by way of conversation asks, "oh how did u bring these in ??" (b'coz customs in australia is so bloody strict right?) and the lady said, "oh. the customs person knew what they were. i just said they were elephant nuts". and the hostess' niece said "OH !! elephant'S nuts ah ??" and mum thought she was joking so burst out laughing like "HAHAHAHAHA" complete with finger pointing. only to realize that no, this woman was not joking at all. and this was followed by a *very* awkward silence.

inappropriate moment #2:

we were at a restaurant and we saw this man there who was wearing a shirt buttoned all the way up to his chin and a sweater over it. with tan pants. so anyway, i said "hey mum look at that guy. he looks like he's got a stick up his ass. gosh. so uptight." and my dad said "what ??" so mum 'whispered' to him: ohh..she said that man looks very uptight. like anal lah. he looks very anal. and then my sister (da) sitting across the table closes to the man said "mum, shh. i can hear u." and she went "oh !! aiyoh" and tried to cover her face with a napkin .. then she kept saying "it wasn't me. it wasn't me"

so i have shitload of work to do, msn and icq don't work on the desktop anymore..but it's just as well 'coz then i can't chat and procrastinate. anyhow, thought i'd do a post 'coz someone called jazz (refer to tagboard) has tagged !! whoever she/he is (i think it's a she), she sounds like an old friend =) orrrrrrrsome maaaate.. so hello again jazz =) nice to hear from u 'tho i dn't quite know who u are.

t-square ball is coming up. for those of you plebs who don't know what it is (i apologize for calling u plebs =P) that's our faculty ball. held at the zoo, theme is wild. so me any cally should be going costume hunting on saturday. i want to go as classic catwoman. in other words, *no* latex *anywhere* michelle pfeiffer catwoman is way too kinky for me. i told cally we should go as a team which means she can be poison ivy (she has green-ish eyes so it'd b a great costume). thing is, we're both hell short =P so good luck to us finding outfits. adit wants to go as steve irwin, but many people will be doing that. so i think he should consider something else. don't u think ??

also, check back here after the weekend, we should have more photos up. pics of dennis' birthday (as promised a few days ago), site visit to king's park. maybe even a rendering of my viz model. hey. after that much work, i think i do deserve to show off a little =PP

hey all. how was the weekend ?? stu's birthday lunch was pretty gooood =)) he made a gif file of me eating cake. it's awesome !! if i knew how to put it on the this blog i would .. we had dennis' birthday thing today as well. it was great !! i made brownies =D then we presented his present to him (yes that was intentional). so all in all it's been a good few days. real busy now though. soooooo yeah.
